Kaushik Das
Director
Kaushik is an Australian Indian producer, writer, and actor working across English and Indian-language film and television. He is the founder of Anjana Productions and a professional member of Screen Producers Australia, the Australian Writers' Guild, and the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA).
Kaushik is currently producing the upcoming feature GHOST: A Haunting Love Story, an Indian-American co-production with MYRND Movies, starring Namashi Chakraborty and legendary actor Mithun Chakraborty. His work has been supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) and has screened at major international festivals including the New York Indian Film Festival, Kolkata Film Festival, and Delhi International Film Festival, where he won Best Film.
He has directed music videos featured on Vevo, Tidal, and Apple Music, and appeared as a Guest Panelist at the Indywood Film Market. Recognised for his contributions to the industry, he received the John Dommett Medal for outstanding achievement and was nominated at the Queensland Emerging Screen Talent Awards at the Brisbane International Film Festival.
Kaushik has multiple projects in development, with a focus on cross-cultural narratives that bridge his Australian and Indian heritage, while also working across a range of genres and formats.
